3. Theatre

Theatre is a collaborative form of fine art that uses live performers to present the experience of a real or imagined event before a live audience in a specific place. The performers may communicate this experience to the audience through combinations of gesture, speech, song, music or dance. Theatre is a way to send message to large amount of audience in live show.  

There are many types of different theatre all over the world and centuries. The theatre happens to entertain the public. At the old times, theatre is always playing the stories of legend or real event that once happen. Theatre happens to spread stories all over the public, people enjoying for the theatre play. And the theatre works like a television and drama that what our modern life has. But the different is, theatre is works with a lot of people on a stage, a live show stage. Everybody will go have a sit and watch the theatre. A theatre not just working with people, sometimes it would be a shadow puppet or dolls, as long as it plays for storyline or drama.

And theatre is already a kind of jobs in the old centuries. It is a money earning way for people. It works like what our video production industries now, but they go around places and play their theatre and earn some money from the crowd. And the actor is about same like what we are now, those who can perform well always popular around all places.

Theatre has different types of categories, and there is Drama, Musical Theatre, Opera, Comedy and Tragedy. Each of them works different way but have same purpose, to convey some message to the audience but in different ways. Example like drama is showing a performance that has a storyline. Actors act on the stage with emotion and speech. While, musical theatre is just performing music to the audience. But both of them are convey message, drama tells story and give information that what happens inside the story. Musical theatre plays the music, and let the audience feels the flow of the music, information are not directly convey but having audience’s attention to feel it.

Still, theatre is not working as well as multimedia now. Multimedia has more influences and large amount of audiences, since it is all over the world right now. So, theatre is more treasured by peoples. People who treasured it know the value of theatre. But, theatre is still also happen when there is some kind of event held. That when people are trying to make a story to performs in live.

2. Social Groups

There is many type of social/ cultural group in our society.

The groups can be depends on different kind of situation and settings.

It can be determine by gender, interest, ages, culture and etc.

E.g. for gender, can be classified into two groups, Male and Female.

The social/ cultural groups always been used for some
studies and research on certain purpose.

Example is like studying the point of view for latest technologies
among different age group.

Different peer group always have different idea and suggestion.

Why it is different?

In different age, people think different.

Different of experiences has affected the decision of peoples.

So, how about the media?

As we know that, different social/ cultural group has different way.

Let us see about some of the social/ cultural group in our daily life.

Firstly is the different age of peer group.

Young age groups of people use latest technologies of media.

They can follow the improvement of technologies well.

And they choose the media which can make their life much easier.

Their media use is related to the internets and webs.

Mostly, those social media like facebook, tweeter and etc
are used by this group.

And most of them are using the convenient of the internet
to search news and information.

For middle age group, some of them are able to follow
the changes of technologies.

So, their media use is different than the young age group.

They media they use are most likely to be able for them to use comfortably.

They might be get the news and information from some media like

newspaper, magazine, books and so on.

But still some of them are able to follow up and use the latest technologies.

Those media are much familiar for them.

As for the older age group.

They are hardly to follow the changes of technologies.

What media they can use is which of those they know how to use.

Mostly they are listening to radio, watch the newspaper and books,

using home telephone for communication and so on.

And then, there is Household group.

What media will a family household use?

There is many kind of media.

To communicate in distance, because there is different ages people
in a household group,

family member will use the common way which all of them are able to use.

So, telephone and mobile phone are used.

Internet way to communicate in distance is not suggested since

there are family member who do not know how to use it.

So, When the situation changed, the media use of different

social/ cultural group will change too.

Books and Magazine

A collection of printed pages bound inside a cover (hard or soft) that you could place on a shelf in your library, or in a store. Inside stores different kinds of information depends on what the writer mean to write it.

Newspaper

A publication, usually issued daily or weekly, containing current news, editorials, feature articles, and usually advertising.

Television

The industry of producing and broadcasting television programs.

Poster

A large, usually printed placard, bill, or announcement, often illustrated, that is posted to advertise or publicize something. An artistic work, often a reproduction of an original painting or photograph, printed on a large sheet of paper.

Billboards

Panel for the display of advertisements in public places, such as alongside highways or on the sides of buildings. The advertisement or message posted on such a panel. An introductory list of highlights from the program or text that follows, as in a broadcast or magazine.

Cinema

A movie theater. Shows the movies make by certain group of people. Movie can convey message to the audience.

World Wide Web

Is a system of interlinked hypertext documents accessed via the Internet. With a web browser, one can view web pages that may contain text, images, videos, and other multimedia, and navigate between them via hyperlinks.

Photographs

An image, especially a positive print, recorded by a camera and reproduced on a photosensitive surface. Photographs help you to keep the precious moment or historical moment in time needed. And photograph can tell you the story with just the picture.

Radio

A broadcasting media by only broadcasting with sound. It mostly used to broadcast music and news.

Music

The art of arranging sounds in time so as to produce a continuous, unified, and evocative composition, as through melody, harmony, rhythm, and timbre. By listening music can be convey some emotion and feelings towards the audience.
